Even with the money in the account, you've still got bills so you're looking to maximize your fun while minimizing cost. Welcome to Bar 7. Every Friday Bar 7 has open bar from 5pm-6pm and then goes in to happy hour specials. It's the perfect spot for pre-gaming for the night or you can just stay there and enjoy the rest of the evening. It's a popular spot and gets pretty active after happy hour is over. The open bar is usually limited to a single type of liquor for the hour. One Friday it was open bar for any Absolut drinks, another Friday it was Dusse. The server staff is really nice and fellas, the female bartenders are easy on the eyes, lol. There's also a DJ playing all the current RnB/hip hop favorites while you sip. Bar 7 is located at 1015 1/2 7th St NW, 1 block down from the Mt. Vernon metro station and a few blocks from Chinatown.

Ladies, ladies, ladies! The open bar fun doesn't stop for you on Fridays! From 10pm-11pm, The Gryphon has a champagne open bar. I love the decor of The Gryphon. The couches are luxurious, there's plenty of space, and the wait staff is awesome. Friday nights, they play Top 40 hits and the crowd is a good mix of everyone and it tends to get pretty crowded. You have to register for the open bar before hand and you can do that with a simple Google search for "Gryphon champagne open bar". The great thing about their RSVP system is once you sign up on Eventbrite, they automatically renew it every week. The Gryphon's address is 1337 Connecticut Ave NW, just a few minutes walk from the Dupont Circle Metro.
